2. What personal data we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us, and a limited amount of technical data needed to operate and protect the site:
- Enquiry form data: your name, phone number, email address (optional), property type, service required, site location and the details of your enquiry or message.
- Communication data: any information you provide if you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- Technical & usage data: standard information such as IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and referring source, collected automatically through analytics and security tools (see sections 5 and 6).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not collect data from children.
3. How we use your data
Personal data submitted through this website is used to:
- respond to your enquiry, answer questions and provide quotations;
- arrange and conduct site assessments and carry out the services you request;
- communicate with you about your project, including follow-up;
- keep records for accounting, warranty, legal and regulatory purposes;
- maintain the security, integrity and performance of this website.
We will not use your data for unrelated marketing without your consent.
4. Legal basis & consent
We collect and use your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the enquiry form or contact us, and where permitted under the PDPA. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 8); note that withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to respond to your enquiry or provide a service.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address (truncated/handled per Google's terms), pages visited and approximate location. This helps us measure traffic and the performance of our advertising. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by managing cookies in your browser settings.
6. Security & spam protection
This website is served and protected through Cloudflare, including Cloudflare Turnstile, which we use on our contact form to tell humans and automated bots apart. To do this, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics. This processing is necessary to protect the website and our enquiry inbox from abuse and spam.
7. Disclosure of your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it where necessary:
- with trusted service providers who help us operate the site (for example Google for analytics and Cloudflare for security and delivery), who are bound to protect it;
- with our staff and subcontractors strictly as needed to carry out the services you request;
- where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
8. Your rights under the PDPA
Subject to the PDPA, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, or withdraw your consent to our continued use of your data. To make a request, email admin@shieldguard.com.sg. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out above, or as required for business, warranty, accounting, tax and legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
10. Data protection
Enquiry submissions are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and delivered to our company mailbox. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
11. Third-party links
Our website may link to external sites (such as WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
